CCTV INSTALLATION

Ysgol Calon Cymru in Llandrindod Wells got in touch to see how we could assist in bringing their campus a bit more security and safety by the way of CCTV cameras. After various meetings with the staff it was clear we needed a whole-site solution to provide adequate coverage for the school.

We worked closely with their chosen IT providers to ensure the main backbone infrastructure of the IT equipment / server cabinets etc were adequate and fast enough to cope with the additional load we were proposing to introduce.

We chose Hikvision’s range of IP cameras – over 50 in total. Running on a Layer 3 secure purpose created network. All streaming in real-time back to a central NVR with a massive 60 Terabyte of storage space. This allowed over a month of constant recording time in full 4K resolution.

Whilst remote access is always an option that we can provide and setup, it was decided that for security and GDPR reasons that we were to keep remote access disabled for this site.
